Thanks for sharing your videos. I'd be interested in viewing any other footage you have of this show. Greg is a national treasure, and all of his Eddie Japan bandmates are amazing. ✌❤🎶

It sounds good. So very happy to see Greg doing well and playing. The Cars are a very special band. Seeing them at The Warehouse New Orleans '79 to this day is still one of the best concerts I've ever seen . Heartbreaking how Ben left us and with Ric being gone I never thought I'd hear these songs again. Thanks

Now THAT would be interesting! This was a local band in Boston called "Eddie Japan." They do all their own original material. Occasionally they play concerts focusing only on CARS music. Seen them twice. They always put on a good show. Have a few videos from a couple different shows on my Channel. Thanks for watching and for commenting, Mark. Stay tuned...

The 80s were a special time for music. Even now The Cars will always be my favorite band. I was blessed to have grow up during that time and to have seen them twice. At The Forum and At the Sports Arena in Los Angeles. I will never forget how just seeing them perform live was awesome. All my friends blasted there music every time we got together. Ric, Ben, David, Elliott and Greg thank you for all your music and for the great memories. It puts a smile on my face to see greg still rocking it well done!

I’m currently teaching a 13 year old student who is obsessed with the Cars music. My 19 year old son has all their albums on vinyl. They have a timeless sound and as a keyboard player myself, they changed my life when I was kid. Such awesome keyboard parts!

Who did Elliot's solos? It was definitely not the guy on the Les Paul. Recorded????
@jukeboxhero2610 ай бұрын
There were actually 2 guitarists on stage. The guy that did the lead on that song was on the opposite side of the stage. He is shown playing in 1 of the other songs here.

Oh yeah I see him enter the picture briefly at 6:12 and have seen him in other videos now that you mention it. Damn they need to spotlight him ! Pretty tall order to fill in for Elliot and he nailed it so good I thought it was a backing track. Wow !

Dear Greg..I started listening to the cars in 1977 at 7 years old. The one phrase I always wondered about was "Neon Lover"...as in "You might have been a neon lover..". Did this word have a meaning either overt or hidden? Thank you!!
