Beautiful vid. But I never want to see another video like it again. It seems we're losing too many of these legends too quickly.

Years ago when the outlaws were on TV, he got into a minor accident and beat the car and tow truck back to the pits. The announcer who interviewed him asked him just as the car was being hauled in, are you done for the night? And just at that moment the car fell off the wrecker and he relied laughing, "I am now!"

RIP Hod! WoO really needs to make track safety a priority! Nascar did it was safer barriers.... WoO is far behind in driver safety! 2 amazing drivers in 1 season.... this has to stop.
@team23motorsports405 жыл бұрын
Nascar and WoO are different. Nascar tracks are owned by nascar. The tracks that WoO races at arent owned by the outlaws. The outlaws cant do much. Its the track owners that need to do something. WoO has nothing to do with it. Plus gregs crash wasnt even at a WoO event.
@rennat995 жыл бұрын
JJ had nothing to do with the track. Has to do with an unsafe roll cage, anything can come through the top of the car, only inches between the driver and outside the car. Didn’t see Hods wreck yet but I’m sure it was similar.
@team23motorsports405 жыл бұрын
@@rennat99 yeah Jason's wasn't from the track but Greg's was because of it. The way he hit the wall was where it came out from where the cars go in and off the track. Greg's crash was 10% car and 90% track
@rennat995 жыл бұрын
Team 23 Motorsports ouch, yeah those outlets are so dumb, haven’t seen the crash yet.
@jayss105 жыл бұрын
Rennat 99 JJ was from the track also. No catchfence and riding up on top of the wall and then slamming into the billboards. Either the top of the wall or the billboard did the damage. Car should have never been able to land on the top of a wall or hit billboards like that.

How many more drivers need to be killed until this series decides its finally time to build a safer chassis to keep these drivers safe..so sad so many people could’ve been saved I’m sure if they kept up with safety mandates like NHRA does with certification. God Speed Greg Hodnett

Yes. It's time for tracks to wise up and make their facilities safer. There is no need for these abrupt guard rails at exits off the track . Williams Grove has one on the backstretch. Time to fix this.

I hate having to wait for an upload of the crash & hearing this stupid debate about the crash video & shld it be shown or viewed or not? It's history, it happened. Upload it so it's there for the record & its there for those who want to watch & if u don't want to watch it, SIMPLE, dont! But don't be the person that tries to dictate what others do. RIP to a true PA Posse Legend 🏁🏁🏁
@dwaynemathias38345 жыл бұрын
It wasn't the car that "failed", it was the stupid design of an abrupt guard rail at the track's exit.
