Thanks for the video! All these decisions on what to do with waters. I sure like the water setup.

Earlier in December in northcentral PA, we had negative degrees F WITHOUT wind chill factor. We are on top of a hill and the wind is awesome in summer, but brutal in winter sub zero temps when out and about. Keep warm!

We use poly braid for our horses, it has never failed us in almost 26 years.

We got a few words in there, not most but many. Seems like: Weather cold, leather mittens good, handwarmers somethnig, tank good. polywire lasts forever, reels don't. What did we miss? I wrap flagging (surveyor ribbon) on any tool that I MIGHT drop anywhere to make it harder to not find when I come back looking for it. Also I have a strong UV flashlight that'll make any flourescent flagging POP in low light levels for hunting in the twilight/dark. When the old flagging gets raggedy or gone, I put more on. That shut off tool being black and in the weeds reminded me. That's a big part of my work that carries over into the rest of my life-- I'm a well-compensated flagging dispenser.🤣I'll bet I've put out miles of that stuff.

I’m seriously thinking about removing and selling all of my Ritchie waterers and replacing them with these. I like the design way better. I also like their mineral feeders as well when I researched their products. Everything they have looks top notch. Thanks Greg.

Do you think goats could figure it out too?
@gregjudyregenerativerancher21 сағат бұрын
Oh yes, they are the smartest animal on the farm.

How can we get a pair of those mittens? What is the name of them?
@gregjudyregenerativerancher21 сағат бұрын
Maybe George Heller will chime in here and tell you where he gets them.

Yeah I've found about 18 different leather mittens just scracthing the surface. Maybe I'll wait until Greg tells us something, or I might just buy on looks and sales hype. But there are many: Kinco, WellsLamont, Harssizandar, Tough Duck, Berne, Guide Gear, Northstar (look nice), Auclair, LLBean, Redhead, KBar 7, Illinois Glove Company, Westchester, Wakayama, Burton, Hestra, Omni, Skydeer, Golden Stag... are more. I do know that the electric, 3-level hand warmers we have at work are that type that I'll buy if I ever buy any. They charge in the case like ear buds, handy dandy. Also a lot of battery heated gloves and socks and jackets out there these days. My tire guy was wearing socks, gloves, and a jacket with heaters in them recently when he mounted my new tires. I was wearing layers of merino wool (head to toe base layer plus) and cotton and goose down. His shop has no heater at present.

Minneskonsin Glove is the pair I might start with, but also I see Vermont Glove has some. Deer skin vs. Goat skin leather. Hmmm.
