Definately one of the best mma trainers in history. Him and Firas Zihabe.
I had the pleasure to meet Greg just a few times in Albuquerque over 15 years ago. Sadly his Gym was on the other side of town for me, and I wasn't much into ground game and mma. Anyway, I had the pleasure of travelling all over the world and meet a ton of people in combat sports... and this guy just blew my mind. He was clearly super knowledgeable, had great energy, and it's one of my few regrets to not have trained with him for the year i was over there. He's like one of the "old school kung fu masters" you see in movies lol, but he's the real deal. Martial arts need more people like him.

+Michael James Some people are master minds at designing specific trainings but they are not really good fighters or not good at all and viceversa a good fighter will not always be a good coach. Greg is respected because of the results his students are.

+Michael James many fighters have come to him before they became great fighters. and he turned them into great fighters. like gsp, jon jones, holly holms, guida, among many others

+Peter Paul gsp was already a great fighter before he met Greg and Jon was on his way no matter what but he does a good job of making great fighter a lil greater

because he has created great champions that's why. jon jones, gsp, holly holmes, among others. usually peope who suck at a sport make great teachers. and people who are highly successful in a sport make terrible teachers or coaches. for the most part. look at baseball or basketball.
