My first surfboard was a Balsa Wood Greg Noll with the Fat Man decal on it. Boy do I wish I had kept that board. Greg Noll did all my work on my board, broke the nose of my board and he fixed it perfectly. RIP Greg.

I'm probably one of the few surfers watching this who can say I've performed that music around 80 to 100 times! Greg Knoll on the other other hand is a LEGEND!!!

Thanks for sharing this. Legends! Never got to meet Greg Noll, but his “fun hog” view of life has inspired me in many ways.

I have a sawmill and I want to start making this kind of stuff. Anyway I can get into contact with anyone that has knowledge on this

It's going to be really hard to find anyone with that knowledge. They all died. Your best bet is to try to get measurements off of a board in a surf museum. And take a lot of pictures of that board, with rulers in the pictures. A redwood board is nearly useless, sure you want to go through the effort?

I wish I could go back in time with my shortboard and show these guys what the future looked like and see the looks on their faces.
