As a Trail Blazers fan who saw numerous games he played in person, I'm glad GO's come to a place of peace with how things turned out and understands the difference between being a "bust" (someone who doesn't have what it takes mentally/emotionally or talent-wise to meet expectations) and simply being unable to perform at the highest level because of injury. For a brief moment the Blazers had the makings of a perennial contender, led by B. Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Oden, but unfortunately two of the three had fundamentally flawed physiology from the knees down. These three played only 62 games together, and the Blazers were 50-12 in those games. It was some real shit, but it was fleeting.
