Greg has one of the most extensive list of legends who hired his talents, I saw him with George Benson decades ago, he seems to be able to play everything extremely well with great feel. If he didn't do research on the songs before doing the Keyscape recording it is truly amazing how well he remembers each tune in detail. He's the consummate session musician for sure.

i dont know why but this video feels Nostalgic. first time i got this and Omnisphere and Trilian....iv been soooo excited. these products are definitley for the Winter Season, Fall Season and Christmas Season. so many emotions after Buying these after many times. watching the older videos of this product feels like and not only it was just uploaded 1 day ago is CRAZY. i remember when i didnt have these and the feeling was 10 times Stronger. i have NOT bought not ONE piano plugin after this one, no other SYNTH after Omnisphere 2, and NO other BASS plugin after trilian. seasons are going to be insane while being intimate with the process of just playing around inside the plugins. all i can remember is seeing omnisphere 2 years ago. back in 2013 and remembering 2013 saying dang i wish i had it. fast forward years later who would have ever thought it come back to haunt me. when i got these iv played them for HOURS non stop. definitely happy with my purchases. well its almost about that time to revisit the atmosphere

Oh my, I totally missed that the saloon preset already has a "detune" in the Sauce section! Which detunes the individual strings of a note even. Anyway using a custom .tun is sometimes useful too :)

Hey everyone, it’s Matthew Whitaker here! I just wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and experiences with Spectrasonics, specifically their products Keyscape and Trilian. If you’re into music production like I am, you know how incredible their sounds are. I remember coming across their introduction video years ago, listening to all the amazing sounds and artists-it’s something that still blows me away to this day. Now, as much as I love using Keyscape and Trilian, I have to talk about something that’s been a challenge for me and many others in the blind musician community: accessibility. Being a blind musician means that I rely on a screen reader called VoiceOver, which is built into my Mac Studio M1. I use VoiceOver to navigate all of my recording software, including Reaper and Logic Pro. But here’s the thing: a lot of the controls in Keyscape and Trilian are just not accessible through VoiceOver, making it really tough to use these amazing tools to their fullest potential. To work around this, I’ve been using third-party presets from someone who creates NKS presets for Native Instruments hardware. For those of you who might not know, NKS, or Native Kontrol Standard, is a format that makes plug-ins easier to use with screen readers. It provides labeled parameters and easy-to-navigate controls, which is super helpful when you’re blind and need a way to interact with your virtual instruments. But even with this workaround, it’s not the same as having full access to the software itself. That’s why I’m reaching out to Spectrasonics, hoping to see some progress on making their products accessible directly. I actually reached out to them before, and they were super positive, saying they were going to work on accessibility. But it’s been a while, and I haven’t heard any updates. I know a lot of other blind musicians who are just as passionate about their products as I am, and we’d all be willing to help out with testing and giving feedback to make this happen. I’m also currently using older versions of Keyscape and Trilian, and if it’s possible, I’d love to get my hands on the latest versions to see what’s new. I’ve also been dreaming about adding Stylus and Omnisphere to my setup-they would be such a game-changer! But right now, the accessibility barriers make it tough for me to use them effectively. Lastly, I want to highlight how important accessibility is-not just for me, but for so many others. In fact, it’s not just a nice-to-have; it’s a legal right. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is all about ensuring that people with disabilities have equal access to technology. Making software accessible isn’t just good for us as users, it’s also in line with the law. So, in summary: 1. I absolutely love Spectrasonics’ Keyscape and Trilian, but accessibility is a challenge. 2. I use third-party NKS presets to make them work, but direct improvements would be a game-changer. 3. I’d appreciate access to the latest versions of these products and would love to incorporate Stylus and Omnisphere. 4. Accessibility is not just important for me-it’s a legal requirement, and it would open up your software to so many more musicians. I really hope Spectrasonics can take this to heart. If you’re watching this and you work with them, or if you’re just a fan like me, let’s keep the conversation going. Accessibility matters, and it could make such a huge difference for so many of us. Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to hear what Spectrasonics might come up with next!
@SpectrasonicsVIDEO22 күн бұрын
Thanks for your important feedback! Please know that we are working hard on MIDI 2.0 compatibility for our instruments, which will improve accessibility in a much more universal way for all future systems and users.
