Always change all the glow plugs and the controller unit at the same time. And yes, definitely seems like 2 or more of the 4 glow plugs are not working.

Hey, merry christmas to you too. Huge tip for you, change your e91 kidney grills to black and thinner grill ( double stripe or like m sport idk), it does a huge change and doesn't cost much. Did it on my e91 facelift because it had no chrome on it except the grill and like I said, made huge difference. Keep up the great work bud!

Thanks for good tips! Where did you buy the M sport kidney grille? Does it look any different? I know the facelift kidney grille look different and better, but need a ned hood if I’m going for the pacelift kidney grille I think 😅

@@FahreFilms If you have pre facelift grills right now, then you can change it to pre facelift grill only. But yeah if you want facelift grill then you need new hood. In my opinion you should just change grill to pre facelift black m sport one, the hood changing is kinda expensive. I ordered my grill from aliexpress for 20€, but it took quite a long time to arrive, but in the end was worth it. If i would buy them again, then I would contact my local sellers, because by ordering it takes atleast a month to arrive (to Estonia atleast).

Just buy defrost spray, it works very well, no ice on windows in 30 seconds

Is it normal for a diesel to make so much smoke when doing a cold start?

I think so normally its when they modify the exhaust, i think his exhaust is standard tho, but when its trying to start it gets alot of fuel(diesel) so it will smoke(soot) more than the particulate filter can handle, therefor you will see more black smoke :)

Yes, tailgate and rear lights are swapped for facelift. And swapped headlights, but not the bumper and the hood 🙏🏼 I really like the setup 😊🔥

Wow, you don't take care of your cars, E91 cold start was so difficult, emitted black smoke, check your glow plugs, the fuel injectors need replacing too, it's basic knowledge...

I don’t have a catalytic converter on the car, so that’s why the car smokes a bit on cold start ✌🏼 Nothing to worry about 🙃

@@FahreFilms should definitely check out glow plugs if you can, considering it was only -10 degrees, it shouldn't been that rough of a start

just get a block/coolant heater and run it earlier before starting the engine when it's cold outside. I put one on my Mercedes diesel and after running the heater it starts after 2 seconds just like in the summer even though it has worn out glow plugs that don't work too well. Coolant has 30-60 C depending on how long I run the heater so the engine doesn't take ages to warm up like it normally would in this kind of weather and it immediately blows hot air from the vents. Also if you don't know, it's not good for the engine to be started without pre-heating in this cold or colder weather since there is more wear going on during the startup and also you're getting worse gas mileage until it warms up
