I've always enjoyed the voice of Mr. Volz. From my youth, listening to Petra, then following the solo career afterwards. Thank God he pointed young minds towards Christ with his music.

This is truly a wonderous song, and oh, do I feel your words... and so many could dearly benefit from listening... I wish I could SHARE... and I will... Greg, you have a flowing gift of sharing in the Spirit, and I remember! WE ARE ALL TOGETHER........ Need to remember that... we are not alone... This was originally a song that Volz's first band "E", had recorded in the early 70's.

The song is original from E Band.He sang in that band.

Not a big fan of Petra's music in its post-Volz era, but then, if he had stayed with them, we probably wouldn't have had his amazing solo work. By the time he got to this, his third and final album, Volz had stepped out from behind the Petra shadow, and was doing some amazing and groundbreaking work. They never should have let him go.

They didn't let him go, he walked. He had other things he wanted to do. This wasn't his final album, he has done more and he's just released a couple of 'Classic Petra' albums redoing his work with Petra.

This was not his last album. Look around UnknownPetraFan's channel, he has everything - including "The Exodus," which was released in 1992 (this album, "No Room in the Middle," was released in 1990.

As a Baby Boomer at the time this was released, I just was not into the soft, mellow Greg Volz. I believe that many of us expected his music to mirror what I needed, and expected at the time this was released. Not knocking his ability, nor his anointing, when this was released this was not the encouragement I was willing to part with my hard earned dollars to get. Nothing wrong with mellow, but even today, I favor a certain amount of "Chunch" in my musis. At the time Petra with John Schlitt was still offering the crunch I needed, it was with Petra, and the crunch that I invested my money. Even today, I prefer more crunch.
