Went through this personally before I pursued my Bachelor’s my ex told me it’s unfair for her to wait for me to finish my degree mind you we both under 25 and living with our parents. Next ex gf I was with would get into arguments with me because I use to come over late from house because I was in tutoring because I was in school for accounting, told me that my education is my problem and that she doesn’t need to invest in my education although I only told her to be supportive in me finishing my degree since I was about to graduate, and start my MBA. Her main concern was when are you going to get that big job with the big bucks. She use to randomly call me while I was studying with classmates for some 🍆, being a total deterrent and distraction, when I started my own business she never offered to help or see if there was anything she could pick up for me at a store or warehouse Just a thorn in my side I’ve gotten more accomplished career wise and financially being single than in a relationship
