I’m still trying to catch more than two bass a day. Idk what it is, if I’m spending too much time on one bait, or if I’m staying in one spot too long, 90% of the time I feel like I’m using the wrong baits. I fish alone on my kayak an I get into my own head too much at times I definitely know that. I still have so much to learn. Your videos definitely help

Greg, My rod did the same thing and I didn’t realize it and I launched a really expensive lure about 75 yards into the pond. Good job catching the problem before you did that! A good fisherman is always prepared. Then you catch a 5 pounder! Ha

Brutal man. For me it's always downsizing baits and going slower even to the point where you aren't even moving your bait (ned rigs, jigs, etc). Weather can be a huge factor too. Not saying to go out in nasty weather but those bright sunny sky days with zero wind tend to be tough fishing at least for me

Hi Greg! Me, my Dad and my son, just launched at Sugar Barge yesterday and came up empty handed. We tried drop shotting, cranking, and chatterbaits, nothing seemed to work. Today was too windy to get back out on the boat, but we are going back out tomorrow.
