I don't care what it costs to keep this guy. Pay him the money! I'm sure some middling program will give him offers. I'm sure he had some offers. But pay him the bucks! Such an incredible coach.

We know Tony Wants to be a Head Coach..and we get it...but man if there is any way to keep him I would sure as Hell be at LEAST LOOKING INTO HOW TO KEEP HIM....having Tony gives Coach Ruhle the freedom to worry about offense and recruiting just that much more....I know he isn't the kind of person to just not keep an eye on all phases of the Game but still....having a person like Tony ....well you just can't say how important that is. P.S. I have been very fortunate to have visited with Coach White several times now since he first came to Nebraska from Syracuse and to say his knowledge of his version of the 3-3-5 Defense is nothing short of amazing. We have only scratched the very surface of what this alignment can do when you have a roster of 3 deep talent pool from which to draw....I would really love to see it in 3-4 years from now.....kinda peek into the future maybe ..the possibilities here are as many as there are formations in Coaches Scheme !

These reporters continue to ask either questions that a 5 year old already knows the answer to or questions about feelings that are awkward and almost impossible to answer... Evan Bland is the worst . They all ask questions stuttering and stammering like they feel dumb for asking.......Do you uhhh , do you feel uhhh , do you feel like your ready to ummm play hard...😮😮😮

Nebraska has not put together 4 quarters of offense. They haven't even out together 3 quarters. I don't know if we are a 40 point scoring team yet

Not so fast. If you look around the nation at coaches like Billy Napier, and Mike Norvelle, and DeShaun Foster, you see that being a head coach is not exactly a cake walk. Tony White has a wonderful situation in Nebraska. He pulls down a very lucrative salary to be second fiddle, but yet has celebrity status with only a portion of the responsibility and pressure of the head guy. Not to mention he gets to live in a very nice, family oriented community. Does he really want to give that up just to be numero uno? If I were he, it would have to be a special opportunity to lure me away from the green grass of Lincoln, which seems to be getting greener.

@@DonaldJamesParkerhe wants to be a head coach. It’s his life career goal. He’s going to get the keys to a good program after this year. Guaranteed.

@@DonaldJamesParker You make REALLY GREAT POINTS..I hope he stays at least till we get to see what his Defense can really do because as he has said "we have only scratched the surface" of the possibilities from running this style Defense with an ATTACKING ATTITUDE EVERY SNAP.....

Sean with another Sean question. “What does it mean to have the two starters who were out last week back?” What was Coach White going to say in response to that? “Nothing at all, Sean. It’s just two guys who proved themselves all through fall camp and the first two games of the year.” 🤦🏼‍♂️

These journalist especially Evan Bland ask questions that are extremely obvious what the answer is and questions about feelings that are awkward and almost impossible to answer..its like what the heck kind of question is that..then they all stammer and stutter like they are apologizing they are asking such stupid questions..
