May God give you grace to see that Christianity is the only true religion. I will pray for you, brother. I have love and respect for Sikh faith but i know you are not in the true faith. I studied new age and all religions. God brought me back to my Catholic Faith. I also saw the demons who were after me...Truly i tell you, only our Lord Jesus Christ can save our souls. He brought you to these chants. If you can listen to the Gregorian Chants in the official language of the Catholic Church ( Latin) and you know it's Divine ( because it is), it's because you received God's Grace. Not everyone can listen... demons hate Latin....May God Bless you 🙏.

A few months ago, when I was feeling empty and exhausted, I went to a chapel near my house. Sitting in the quiet darkness, I suddenly felt a strong presence of God. It was like an invisible hand was placed on my shoulder, I felt comforted and loved. The experience brought tears to my eyes, realizing that I had neglected my soul. From then on, I began to spend time every day in prayer and meditation. Peace and hope returned, God renewed my soul and gave me purpose in life.

Pray for Protection. *Prayer to Saint Michael The Archangel* *St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.* *Revelation 12:7-10* *“Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil, and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.”*

@@ASavageEye dude get over your christian upbringing trauma/baggage, or whatever social pressure you feel to disclaim matters of the soul and divinity. there is no difference except semantics between talking about "heart and soul" and "god". You're only hurting yourselves by masquerading as atheists (or anti-theist, more like it) when you are clearly agnostic. Whether real or not, Jesus as depicted was a liberal and Christianity was the beginning of the Western liberal tradition. Be kind to refugees, poor, immigrants, sex workers, blah blah blah. Don't let the cowardly Catholic church or the dogshit Evangelists ruin the best part of humanity; i.e. matters of the heart and soul, the divine aspects of humanity which connect us to one another. Why would you willingly throw that away just because some shitty self-proclaimed "Christians" have laid a laughable claim to ownership of 'god' and the 'spirit'?

This music is truly a blessing. I am an Autistic, and this music helps me remain calm when I think my world is collapsing. This is basically ASMR for my heart, mind, and soul. However, type of music has also been a sort of step on my spiritual journey. I was raised Protestant, but have always loved medieval European history, where the RCC has is a large participant, I became an Anglican at university, but still struggled with my faith. Today, I am working to join the Roman Catholic Church, because it is so ancient, beautiful, and unyielding to the social fads of the moment that I thought ", This is what true Christianity must be." This church is in the world, but not of the world. Pax Vobiscum, brothers and sisters. Deus lo Vult.

Do not be a protestant. The Church of God is infaillible and never died. Protestants pretend that faith was wrong and disappeared for centuries. Protestants faiths claim to rely on God's words, but they rely on the intepretation of men. Causing the faith to split into countless denominations... the first being lutheran... one of the lasts being jehova witnesses, never stopping to split... While the Catholic Church relies on a divine interpretation. Jesus said that the Church couldn't be corrupted, not the Bible, and since the Bible has been written by Church members, it isn't corrupted... but the Bible is not the only book that the Church wrote, because Jesus has much more than 12 apostles... but millions. Try to read the words of St. Thomas of Aquinas, St. Augustinian... St. Iraneus and St. Ignatus.... Follow truth.

I do not know prayer nor the language of prayer so I let the brothers speak the prayers for me. I feel the Celestial Powers accept and comfort me even though I know my faith is weak.

@@mihaelhorvat1426 several - aside from the ending title of this video being “Orthodox Choir Music.” 1. St Gregory the Great was a representative to Constantinople with became the center of Orthodoxy after the schism. He brought the sounds of Eastern (Byzantine) chant back to Rome and Gregorian chant became a Western expression of that style. 2. Gregorian Chant was practiced in a very famous Benedictine monastery in Latin, on Mt Athos (the heart of the Orthodox world) until it was burned to the ground during the crusades. It was actually practiced in Constantinople as well until the schism. Church writings stare that the Latin Rite parishes under the Bishop of Rome were closed in Constantinople at the time of the schism in 1054. 3. On a practical level Pipe Frances heavily restricted the Latin Mass where Gregorian chant would be electives in the Catholic Church by issuing a Moto Proprio preventing normal diocesan churches from being permitted to do a Latin Mass a year and half ago. This is still practiced freely in Western Rite Orthodox Churches, though they are few. Gregorian style chant is done in most of the Western Rite Orthodox churches though wether they utilize the TLM or the Mass of st Gregory the Great or some other Western Rite Mass. 4. All of the Rites of the first millennia church belong to “The one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.” I think the Catholic Church has a very different view on this. Pope Francis prays with other religions, says his favorite exorcist is a Lutheran and all kinds of blending of different Christian denominations and even other religions like Islam and Amazonian pagan deities. For Orthodox however, there is only one Church and that is the Orthodox Church. All the Rites and saints of the one Church belong to that Church regardless of what location they sprang from.

@@joachimjustinmorgan4851 HISTORY OF GREGORIAN SINGING Rose of Sr. Domagoja Ljubičić Musicological research, research of musical sources and comparison with historical data confirm the hypothesis that the development of the Gregorian singing was influenced by Hebrew, Greek and Roman culture. Hebrew was related to temple and synagogue singing1 , in which vocal music predominates, while Greece had a good influence on Rome, which had very little of its original in music. What is Gregorian chant? Under the name Gregorian chant it means all repertoire, officially recognized by the Catholic Church, created on texts accompanying liturgical church rites. That is the reason for justification The liturgical constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium which encourages all believers to active participation in liturgical singing (partitipatio actuosa) because he believes that is the Gregorian chant specific to the Roman liturgy, it even takes precedence over all other types of music, SC VI., no. 116. From a historical point of view, it is difficult to write authoritatively about the very beginnings of Christian singing due to insufficient original historical reports from the first century. Most of the texts set to music, exclusively in Latin, taken is from the Holy Scriptures and to a large extent from the Psalter and the writings of the Fathers. Among the many possible definitions, we can talk about Gregorian chants as a large collection of monodic music, i.e. unison singing or unison polyphony that follows a single melodic line. In its beginnings, it was it is a simple and limited melody connected by tight intervals, almost exempt from rhythm and close to declamatory pronunciation. Gregorian chant has undergone many changes in its long history 1 It is important to remember the historical fact that the Jewish cult had two parts: »One was the sacrificial cult in the temple, where various sacrifices were offered according to the regulations of the law. In addition to this cult in the temple, which existed and allowed to exist only in Jerusalem, another was increasingly developed: the synagogue, which could stand in all places. In her worship of the Word was celebrated, scriptures were read, psalms were prayed, God was glorified together, the Word was interpreted, directed requests to God.« J. RATZINGER, God is with us - Eucharist: the center of life, Split, 2005, p. 62. gradational changes. A large part of the Gregorian musical repertoire it was also created by oral transmission from generation to generation (via orale), which are mostly made by Benedictine monks in their abbeys. This is my source, you must be Orthodox. The real Gregorian chant is not accompanied by music, so feel free to take this and the Orthodox chant is more earthly than heavenly, the Catholic faith is the true faith, not Orthodox, you are sinning. Rome 4 crucified Jesus, Constantine converted him, so Jesus wins in the Catholic faith, the Orthodox Church will join Catholicism when he comes time nice greetings.

Gregorian chant is a sung prayer of the Catholic Church.Gregorian chant began during the Middle Ages in Europe. It's monophonic, which means it's a melody of one note at a time. In the Gregorian chant repertory there are eight psalm tones. The Psalms were prayers written to be sung, in public settings where God's people had gathered, or in private places where the shepherd boy watched over his sheep. Now those same verses have been preserved for us, all these centuries later, in our hectic and chaotic world. Because each psalm verse is divided into two halves, the psalm tones have a binary, or two-part, form. The Roman Catholic Church no longer requires people to sing Gregorian chants, but it still says that it's the best music for prayer. Gregorian chanting has been studied since the mid-1990s for its health benefits. Gregorian chanting is based on the cadence of the human breath. It can help the mind focus, reduce stress, and lower blood pressure. It can also be beneficial for both work and meditation. Rooted in Pythagorean conceptions of harmony and balance, Gregorian chant grew from an intuitive awareness of how the ear interprets sound. The music was deemed capable of salvation through its very physical effect on the listener.

Unlike conventional hymns these chants are not metered nor measured. Many lyric is repeated. The listeners know it is sacred and heavenly but the meaning of these chants are mystic. Said to be known only to pontiffs. Rarely the church goers ask for meaning, because they have already melted down spiritually. The language is said to be Latin Greek mix. I attended seminary for a little over a year, which was run by a Benedictine Monastery. I'll admit the chanting didn't sound as nice as this, but it was still very beautiful. Mass was also very lovely. About a dozen of the monks were also priests, and so they would all celebrate mass together. As someone who grew up going to church where you might have at most two priests, seeing a dozen priests around the altar, with monks in pews on either side of them, then with an entire room full of people, felt like something out of another age.

They always have music like this in those medieval European movies especially with knights in the story. The Georgorian Monks were very popular in medieval European times. My mother would tell me that the georgorian chants were sung in Latin, and that all Catholic Church services were done only in Latin when she was young God bless you all ✝️

I wasn’t religious until I went to a Latin Mass and heard Gregorian chants in person. Something in my heart changed then and there. I will pray for you, friend :)

ATTENTION!!! I am here to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only true savior for the world. If you deny Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will not see the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus loves you and He died for your sins and on the third day, He arose from the grave. Jesus Christ is alive!! REPENT and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and you will be saved. MARK 1:15 For the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel...

That's what you should expect to hear and see in the Church of Rome, now look at the Roman Catholic Church today, novus ordo and modern music/Organ music.

Ya thankfully the orthodox churches have been holding true to their traditions on stuff like this. Thank god for their dedication and not falling for the ever eroding standards of modern day.

I agree. It seems that when Pope Francis and his supporters (both in the Vatican, the Magisterium and in the One World - One "Religion" Globalist Reset crowd) are finished with their "modernization," the Roman Catholic Church will make the Episcopal Church (in America) look like ultra-traditionalists. I am Roman Catholic, but I must say that there none this nonsense going on in the Orthodox Christian Church. R.C. Catholics - Do you know that the Orthodox Christian Church has a rightful claim to be a part of the One True Church that was founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ? We recognize their Sacraments, Mass, Priesthood and legitimate claim to Apostolic Succession - and vice versa, and probably Sooner rather than Later the Western Church and the Eastern Church will be reunited. If the Orthodox Church didn't make it so complicated to become an official member, I would seriously consder it.

I am completely non spiritual or religious and I love this. It has nothing to do with gods or mysticism. We all know beauty when we see it .... or hear it in this case. I used to be Catholic and witness live the Benedictine monks chanting in an old church, it gave me goosbumps.
