@Slavan lol you have it backwards my friend, we Muslims can always repent after sinning since God tells us that the door for repentance is always open, but Christians know no repentance, you guys take Jesus for a credit card that take the sins of all mankind so no repentance is needed and everything is already forgiven for as long as you believe in Jesus. This is your creed of the cross If you read the verse you just sent again and the rest of the gospels throughly, you’ll find out that the teachings of Jesus is no different from what Islam teaches. Being righteous and repentance for forgiveness, praying to God the Father (and NOT to Jesus) etc. All of this is what Islam teaches as well. Think again my friend. It’s clear that you’re the one who needs to repent here and stop thinking that all of your sins are forgiven automatically just because you believe, and stop cherry picking only the verses that you like and leaving the rest that doesn’t match what Paul, the false self appointed prophet fooled you with Here is one verse that majority of Christians if not all gives a blind eye to: Mathew 5:30 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. So what did Jesus teach about being able to enter paradise? Did he say that you just have to believe in his crucifixion and you have a golden ticket to heaven? Not exactly. Read Mathew 5:30 again. Unless you are more righteous than the teachers of the laws aka the Pharisees, there will be no paradise for you. These are Jesus’s words from your book, not mine. And this goes hand in hand perfectly with what Islam teaches. Surprise surprise, Islam also tells us that we need to be righteous. Yet what Paul taught you? Just believe and have faith and that’s it, all your sins are forgiven. And what do you do? You throw out the words of Jesus regarding this and take the words of Paul instead because taking it the easy way is just way too tempting and comfy. Just gotta sit back on the couch and sin however I want, it doesn’t matter at all. Just faith that matters. Hah. This is the lie that you and othe4 gullible christians grew up to believe in, yet the gospels literally SCREAM that you have to be righteous and repent from the sins and actually PRAY for forgiveness. Not to think that all of your sins are forgiven and that you have a golden ticket to paradise. One more thing, figure out in this verse to what Jesus linked salvation to: John 17:3 3 And this is this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. “That they might KNOW YOU” to what salvation is linked again? To KNOWING GOD. To know who your Creator is, and only after knowing who your Creator is that you can worship him rightfully. You recognise the blessings He gave you and reflect on His creations and learn more about His signs and revelations etc. That’s the PURPOSE for why God created us. He didn’t create us to send Jesus as a credit card for sins so that we can keep sinning however we wish without ever going back to the right path thinking all is already forgiven. I invite you to think again who is the one who needs to repent here.
