I'm not a drone flyer, but this makes me appreciate those who are even more! Beautiful results and love hearing about the techniques that go into them. Adding a little 'selfie' footage made for an even more interesting video!

At last, a vlog about drone photography rather than video. Great tips. I have had less success with auto panoramas, but often shoot 3 x vertical shots to stitch together in LR. Fortunately in South Africa we can fly to 500m, providing awesome landscape opportunities.

Gorgeous images and great tips. I use a drone (DJI Phantom 4 Pro +) at work for inspecting rooves/gutters and getting images of our sports fields etc but I can never resist taking landscape shots of our surroundings and our home town whilst I am flying it. You get a completely different perspective from what we normally see. Shots from max altitude (400’/120m) can be so impressive and just showing a sliver of the horizon helps with scale 👍 they are a great tool but should always be flown within the rules and with respect to others 😉

That location is about 15min. away from me, was shooting there as well already. You chose a very nice location. 🙂

I still need to consider getting a drone at some point even though I've been saying this for years now, lol! These different perspectives from the drone look amazing with the landscape here. Thanks for the tips!

Greg, your instructional is awesome. All your videos when you walk us through your process is fantastic information. I've owned a drone for a few years and I just don't get it in the air enough. Always nervous to fly it in the wrong place. Just returned from Iceland where people were flying them in locations where is was clearly marked no fly zone and right o er peoples heads. Basically being A- holes. Worried about being that guy's. Awesome work again Greg

I just purchased a drone for the beautiful shots that it can capture. So nervous to do too much… a work in progress. Thank you for your lessons.

Do you guys have any additional top tips to add? I feel like flying close to a subject, safely, can also create cool perspectives for Drone Photography.

My pro tip: Don't fly your drone into a Lagos-cliff during the first day of your first vacation with it.

Great stuff Greg👍 How do you find great locations to fly in Germany? I’m using the Droniq app and it’s pretty much forbidden everywhere😢Maybe the app is not accurate. I usually go home to Sweden to fly my drone. I haven’t got the balls to confront angry Germans.
@gregorsnellАй бұрын
@@RH-adventure Hi Robert. I use that app too and agree it’s really hard in Germany. Best way is to research where you want to shoot and then use Droniq to double check if it’s clear to fly. I find the app Location Scout is also a great resource 👍
