What an opening! What a gorgeous sunrise and captured as you did with the drone with that mirror flat reflection!! Outstanding! GREAT video. Someday someone is going to "discover" this and it will get the views it deserves!

An amazing diversity of landscapes and so beautifully photographed. Eight years ago I travelled your route in reverse from San Pedro de Atacama across the Altiplano to Uyuni and on to Sucre and Potosi, where we had a wonderful opportunity to explore underground one of the community silver mines. At that time I didn't have a drone, but your footage shows me so much more potential for a future visit. Thanks for reminding me of all the locations we visited. But I've not seen the salt flats with water - so photogenic at ground and drone levels. Thanks for reinvigorating my memories.

Bolivia is so photogenic! I really need to plan a visit to Bolivia someday! I love that you were able to see a little bit of the Milky Way for a little bit at the salt flats!

I think Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid passed by that migration building ; )

Correct. Somewhere nearby for sure. I doubt they stopped to get passports checked, unless they were fake ones.

Man, than was another incredible video. The opening sequence Greg was truly stunning, especially loved that small segment with the drone in follow me mode behind you walking (assuming it was you) away into the salt flats. Almost as if you were walking off into infinity.

Yup. That was me with the drone in tracking as I walk. Good eye.

Hey Greg, what a wonderful insight into these incredible Bolivian landscapes. I would be happy if you joined Brendan on the Greenland tour at the end of August and we could exchange ideas about South America. I'm looking forward to the third video of your scouting tour. Frank

Hi Frank!! Good to hear from you man. Awesome you'll be in Greenland. It's a great destination. As you know, I might not be on that one, but that decision has yet to be made. Right now it's a 50/50 due to a couple things outside of my control. Either way we can definitely talk about South America. You know where to find me. Cheers! Greg.

Great stuff! Bolivia… who’d a thunk? Need to add it to the bucket list. How has your conversion to the SONY system experience been? Would love to hear in how it’s changed your photography better or worse? Any plans for Medium frame. Bolivia looks like a 65:24 aspect ratio heaven!
@gregorsnell8 ай бұрын
Switch to Sony has been good. Only missing the in camera long exposure movie timelapse feature. Other than the hardware it hasn't changed my photography much. Probably still lots to learn about what the A7RV can do. I think the build in focus bracketing could be the nicest new setting even though I don't use it much. That and the giant resolution for insane details. Cropping is a nice feature. Also the APSC mode. No plans for Medium frame. I do like a poor man's pano though.
