I was part of the original scene in Detroit, I remember a rave in an abandoned firehouse, incredible. Another one was raided while I was arriving on forest ave and 3rd street, the infamous "Cass Corridor", the very worst and dirtiest part of detroit in around 2000, and no music paints a more appropriate picture of the grit and feel of the streets of Detroit than this Detroit techno.

Techno started in Germany in the 80's.. Get educated!
@oight3 жыл бұрын
@@DjSubstain no it didn't, it started in detroit and that's the facts. stop trying to make up history. it was expanded upon in germany and it's popularity spread a lot more here in the eu, but it still originated in detroit by black artists.

Exactly, no other genre except for house, which has its roots and Origins on the south side of chicago, much of early house music has tracks that would be considered techno to this day, Detroit took those and focused more on the Techno EDM side of it where a Chicago continue to develop tracks based on the sounds of it's early house / Disco but let's not forget green velvet etcetera techno and Detroit house music / techno out of Chicago
@cubecubesson67792 жыл бұрын
There seem to be a lot of confused people commenting about some of the artists not being from Detroit. It's more than just a geographical location in this context. It's the spirit of the future computer music that beats in the heart of this bad boy mix! Ask the Belleville 3 if they think this is Detroit and then take it up with them

That was my observation too. The sound selection and repetitiveness is what makes Detroit Techno

Thanks for the tracklist! I used to party in Germany at a club called the U-bar, its in Frankfurt. I would watch Chris Leibing, Sven Vath, Josh Wink...ect. I would watch these djs, who would show there tracks to someone, if asked and the timing was right. This didn't happen all the time. But I clearly remember asking djs, during that timeframe, for tracks.And, they would tell you the name..then I would write it down and buy it. So thanks 😊

Lot's of respect , great mix, great techno, Don't know if you did not post the tracklist on purpose or you just did not think about it. But, if you did not post the tracklist on purpose you should have the double of respects and likes on your channel. Lot of people, DJs, listeners,etc.. expect to find the songs they like just asking you? "HEY DUDE, WHICH TRACK IS ON MINUTE 121412" ,So...to all that people, let me tell you that behind all this tracklist there's a person that spent his time listening over and over lot of music and analizing it so now you can have this amazing tracklist. Not publishing the tracklist is one of the old school rules that we are losing because all this idiots that do not understand the work that involves mixing REAL MUSIC. This is not radio music assholes , this is underground music. This is not for fun, not for ambition, no for fame, the great impulse of all this is devotion. .Regards, Ale.

Well, I'd say it's for fun. At least for the person making it because it's obviously a passion and hobby.
