He deserves everything he gets. One of the best song writers, composers, musicians on the circuit right now. Seen this man in Manchester and Dublin twice. He’s love performance and vocal control on top of an amazing band with banjo, strings and harmonies like none other, This is what makes Gregory stand out amongst the gladiators of the music world. A true artist that demands respect and leads with integrity. One of a f””king kind. Take a bow Greg

Honestly, probably like many of you, I’ve listened to him for years-but this new album … it’s like another level of poetry and beauty, just stunning. An incredible artist, and an amazing band. ❤

This must be the most beautiful version of the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. And I’m not exaggerating.

55 mile signs Thunder crack and lightning While something else inside Shines like the fourth of July I'll go it on my own I'll go it on my own Go it on my own Sand city bus Kicking up dust Kicking up dust Before the sun comes up The devil sees us now Clear as the moon glows Sleeping in our winter clothes Radio's a crackling fire I'll go it on my own I'll go it on my own Go it on my own Sand city bus Kicking up dust Kicking up dust Before the sun comes up

I love that violinist is repping the @topazfarm hat. I got to see them play there and it was a surreal experience.

Music containing banjo has just always been outside the scope of my music interests; because of that I have always had an image of the exaggerated, repetitive and fast paced playing in stereotypical bluegrass music. I don't even know where that image is coming from, maybe the movie oh brother where art thou? I absolutely love the sound of it in all of GAI's music though. So glad i discovered his music.

It’s funny…I listen to this song over and over. And I visualize a movie that hasn’t even been made yet, but uses this song as a young man hops on a worn out city bus out West somewhere…and the only visual you see are the tires going down a dirt road and the tail lights making the scene all kinds of red….while the sun is rising over some mountain in the distance. And it breaks me to the core because I have idea why he’s leaving. When people ask me how I know something has true beauty….I just tell them “I’ve always known, because it’ll bring me to tears.”

Any other banjo players notice that he strums the banjo like a guitar? Sounds beautiful regardless
