I've been following GIA for years, and it's been so awesome watching him grow his fan base and evolve as an artist. His singing in this video is absolutely beautiful and moving, and think it sounds a lot better than earlier videos from last decade. Not that he was bad before.

Even the greats need to find their voice. He always sounded great but now it’s so much more technical. He’s no longer chasing a sound, now, he IS the sound

Great performance, but I can't tell whether this guy is channeling Marcus Mumford or Mumford is channeling him ... guess it depends on which one came first.

That’s interesting, I’d never had made that comparison… the vocal styles vastly different for a start, especially accents. Mumford made it “big” 2009 with “sigh no more” album. Gregory Alan Isakov released albums since 2005 I believe.
