Yeah this song bangs. An estranged lover trying to figure things out, only to discover the other person moved on. He yells and quakes realizing he is no longer in her life. Hence why they are always close to home, but never there.

This is fantastic! Thanks so much:) I just got back from the Ryman. They were tough with filming. I was wondering if you have been able to capture, Sweet Heat Lightning?

I’m jealous you were at the Ryman! Unfortunately he hasn’t played Sweet Heat Lightning at any of the 6 shows I’ve seen since Appaloosa Bones was released. I’ll be seeing him a few more times this fall though so hopefully he will play it! And I’ll be able to get a video :)

@@krobs14 Yes, I highly recommend seeing him there at some point. It’s truly a sacred place. I’m going to see to him in Philly. I am hoping to catch it there. Thank you as always for all your amazing videos. I look forward for more to come this fall:)

@@Everythingwillcome I definitely need to try to make it next time! I’m from Philly but moved to Oregon this year and am bummed I’m missing that show. I am going to Boston and NY though :)

@@krobs14 I’m sure you will have a blast at the shows on the east coast. I’m not too fond of the Philly venue that they chose for this tour. Franklin Music Hall is my least favorite. I’m sure he will put on a great show nonetheless in front of his family and friends. Have fun in NYC and Boston! Can’t wait to see what you capture at those shows. Maybe a little sweet heat lightning :)
