As a literati and professor, I've long studied and promoted Beat School Poetry. Much of the best, including 'The Mad Yak,' is in the serious college and scholarly anthologies and it makes great 'casual' literary reading, illustrated or un-illustrated. Colleagues at the West Wind Review, Southern Oregon University, Barnes and Noble Booksellers colleagues, my fellow S.O.U. and M.I.T. Professors, Tierney, Ghoulson, Fitzsimmons, Professor Stovall of great publishing house experience, essentially my fellow literati for we are a community and we are literary legion: please further anthologize 'The Mad Yak,' that excellent probably new Japanese correct and brilliant haiku from the poet Corso, try to find another excellent poem; and just ignore his meltdown at the start and end; he's an artist. If he needs temporary psychiatric care or ordering, it will be provided in humanitarian fashion; It's not an issue. Please accept my scholarly imploration in this affair, worthy colleagues.
