It’s 2022, and as a black, Jamaican, woman, living in Canada, l feel extremely unwelcome in this world 🌎 I miss my home 🇯🇲I was brought to Canada as a child in 1975, and now I feel that Canadians, and the new immigrants, and refugees wants blacks out of “their” country. I never asked to come, so I will gladly leave. I just need to know what the plan is because right now I am deathly ill and the healthcare system in Canada has failed me. HELP! I don’t want to stay somewhere I am not welcome anymore 😢

Oh my goodness I pray you’re still here because I know exactly how you feel. I had no choice but to come to America, a place that hates my skin, a place that many worship . Now that I’m very sick with autoimmune diseases It’s worse. They don’t want me around. If it wasn’t for the love of Jah and the love of my sons , I’d be long gone. I want to go home and not return . Many of us who came as children aren’t welcomed in Jamaica as far as us moving home. I feel as if there’s no place for me . I never turned my back on Jamaica 🇯🇲 even though I migrated as a child . As an adult I helped my people. Jamaica just doesn’t want us. I have been trying to find land and have been scammed more than once. I want parents to think long and hard before uprooting their children because many of us have been ruined by migration and subjected to abuse my step parents. I used a lot of strength in my younger years to keep them from sinking. I have always missed my home . I am actually on vacation in Jamaica right now but I have to return soon . I don’t want to leave. The winters shorten my lifespan . Jah Forbid . I’m grateful in some sense for America but I have never flew out of Jamaica without being in tears and I’m already dreading that return flight. I wanna go home but they consider me to be American and not Jamaican. We’re just not wanted . Please let me know if you’re still here ❤❤❤
