Thanks for posting this Dr. Sadler, and for all the work you post on youtube. The second person to ask you a question, Eric Perl (the guy who asked about pieity and impiety), was recently my graduate professor (a year ago) at Loyola Marymount University, I studied Plato and Neoplatonism with him. I think he was being very judicious and considerate with his question. I don't think I've ever known someone who was more well read than him on Plato, Aristotle, and their late antique successors, especially off the top of his head. I don't remember how many times he has corrected me (albeit politely) on any number of ancient philosophy topics. Your reply was also very sensible! Thanks again for posting your part in this conference.

Yes, I’ve been fortunate to meet and interact with him before. He’s a cool guy all right

As this presentation is so detailed and dense I will view it more than once to attempt to absorb it. For myself, the work of identifying Greek terms is very useful, and I am slowly creating a Loeb library of Plato, Aristotle and Plotinus, and have enough Greek to read Greek terms. Thank you very much in sharing this. I would very much like to sit silently in a room of specialists, and listen and learn and develop my own detailed understanding that would lead to a truthfully good life.

Always good to see you discussing Aristotle

You don't really know though what I'm discussing, since you're commenting before watching even two minutes of the video! Could have been a bait and switch!

@@vegansportsbar7453 Yep. Pretty sure I know what I myself wrote. My point still stands.
