Great video as always! Very succinct. Is there any particular reason (or theory) why we do not return to the macro-frame with Appollodorus and instead finish up the narrative with Aristodemus? Out of everything in the Symposium, I found this most jarring, mostly because, from a literary perspective, I'm used to a frame story being tied off in a neat little package, but I found the termination point of the dialogue quite interesting. Any insights? Thanks!

I'd guess - since we have absolutely no idea from Plato - that he didn't see it needed there. I know I don't find it jarring, and in my decades of discussing the texts, you're the first person I've read who did.
