I love how this is considered the "worst" so far. I built my boyfriend's new PC and then cleaned all the components from the old PC so that I could use it and when I tell you it took me two full cans of compressed air, about 3-5hrs total of cleaning/rebuilding time, and each component/the case itself had about a centimeter of dust covering it, I'm not kidding. To put it into perspective, this case has lived on the floor its entire life (not anymore now that I'm using it) and we have carpet and two cats. To top it off, the PC hadn't even been opened in at least 2yrs, and I have no idea when it was last cleaned but it was not cleaned two years ago when it was open, just had a gpu switch. Loving the system now and it's running a lot cooler now that it's clean. It'll definitely hold me over till I can afford the last few components for my own build.

I used to smoke indoors and as a result, had to fully disassemble my computers every 2-3 months, and do a full on cleaning that started with washing everything in the sink or shower, including motherboard...and then a full on alcohol wipe down of everything. The full process would take hours...usually a day of casually cleaning. Even with all the cleaning, the "tar" would still end up in places that cannot be easily cleaned...like inside fan hubs, eventually causing the fans to run slower or just seize up entirely. I quit smoking a couple years back and now rarely have to clean things...though with a dog in the house, I still do it every now and then. I no longer have to run filters on my case, though, which really helps with overall temps.

The NZXT Phantom! I'm currently cleaning my white one to give my old build away to my nephew, I definitely won't go as deep in the cleaning process and I'm keeping the same case but I was shocked to see the exact same model I'm currently cleaning. Definitely was a dust trap but very good airflow and plenty of room inside plus that killer look, it's been called a heater and A/C a few times by ignorant people . Actually the removable top and front panel turned yellowish (quit smoking last year), I tried various techniques, even rubbing alcohol and WD40 isn't enough so I'm doing it with acetone now, only on the top panel, the front one is less bad, the acetone dissolves the plastic and I can get rid of that brownish layer albeit killing the glossy and slick aspect of it but completely restoring the original white but it's a pain to do.

You inspired me to clean my pc too after few years. Now i have this cool new feature whenever i turn my pc on it makes cool smoke signals and i also discovered new LED's with 3D fire components. THX :D

I'm addicted to this series. Also it's extra cool how you pass out upgrades especially in today's market. I put a PC together that I had laying around for my sister and it still ended up costing like $600 for the few extra things I needed.

I kinda like the contrast of the white case and cables and a black Mobo ^^ All white is cool too, but it can look a bit "washed out". Something black in the middle balances it all out :)

I wish I wasn’t all the way up in NY. Lol there’s never any youtubers that do this kind of stuff. Love the series and wish to learn more to help better my build! TY!!

I bought an electric duster and I love it. I ended up cleaning my whole house with the thing. I bought the plugin version off amazon for about $50 US.

Dust sucks, Every week I wipe my outer PC Case then 2-3 weeks I will out the inside particularly the PSU cover, and some other areas. Hopefully with a room reno and (I'd like to get rid of my carpet but probably wouldn't be able to) the amount of dust can go down. Tip on clearing the air from dust, take screen out of window, open it, if you have a fan in your room put it on reverse so it sucks the air up toward the roof. Leave it for a few hours. Of course vacuuming at the same time helps can help too.
