@@sternritter_d Exactly! Thank you! You're absolutely right, it just sounds and feels extremely wrong to say he/him when talking about Grell especially after knowing that she wants to be a woman. Also, not only does she literally call herself a woman, one of the people that helped with Black Butler confirmed that Grell is a transgender woman. Despite that, people like Sebastian and Ciel still often say he/him which is odd to me, and it's even stranger how Grell doesn't correct them when they use the wrong pronouns, I think it was because during the time that the anime was set in, changing gender wasn't a thing, I don't really know to be honest.

Long story short, I have a habit of picking up accents when I travel to new places, and I picked up the Irish accent in two days; I never fight it. So I sounded like the love child of Shirley Manson and Jason Voorhees for weeks on end when I was in Ireland and for some time when I returned home. That's the fun part of having speech and language on both sides of your brain!
