Is not possible to upgrade Grendizer, even the fleedians couldn't understand its technology but all they could do is duplicate it to an extend. All they would be able to do is make some sort of vehicle weapons to aid him on its short comings like aerial, water or underground combat which are the double, marine and drill spazers. But don't worry, Even duke has said they're things that Grendizer holds secret that he hasn't been able to find out.

The scrander secuence, Z takes off slower and his movement is more "robotic", while X movement is so fluid and takes off immediately, what a subtle way to tell the improvement

So everything below the head appears bigger (pilder seems ABOUT the same size). The Naval part (connector for the scrander if I remember) is bigger, probably to handle the bigger 'belt' for the bigger scrander. The Breast Fire Plates are more angular than curved. And most obviously, the new fins on the arms clearly inspired by the screw pressure punch. Am I missing anything?

Naming sense aside, I kind of like it. Not as much as Kaiser or ZERO but Kaiser is also "too similar". (Z -> Kaiser feels like Freedom -> Strike Freedom. Too similar looking even if its more impactful.) This is different. He now (probably) have shoulder cannons which is new.

probably, or is a representation of the "Cross" word since this mazinger has both the combine technology of Photon energy, Fleedian and Grendizer. The reason to this is the new attack is literally called "Cross Hurricane."

キャラデザもメカデザも声優も全てがダメとか他の永井豪作品のリメイク作品で嫌悪感とか感じたことないんだけどただ声優さんは可哀想かなあのなよっとしたデザインに合わせるとあんな演技になるんだろうし監督や音響監督がそれで良いとOKた事てるんだろうしね本当に酷いデキでびっくりするこれ戦犯はプロデューサーだろうな永井豪作品であのキャラデザだけはありえないわグレンダイザーはゲームでしか知らないけど当時のアニメと比較した映像みたら劣化どころじゃなかったし二度とオイルマネー出して貰えないんじゃないこれ

I don't know I think I prefer mazinger z over mazinger x like the scrander kai looks a bit to big for mazinger that's why with mazinkaiser the mazinkaiser was a bit bigger than the wings of kaiser scrander (except when the wings expanded wider to fly) but hey mazinger x doesn't look bad other than maybe the scrander kai

何か重厚感がないというか、全体的に絵のタッチが軽いなぁそもそもカイザーという圧倒的な強さのマジンガーがいるはずなのに置き去りにして過去デザインにこだわる謎ゆーてグレンダイザーが主役となると目立ちすぎてもダメなのは分かるしカイザー登場前の世界線となれば仕方ないのも分かるしかし絵のタッチといい近年のマジンガーはちょっと残念なのが目立つなぁ

1話とりあえずグレンダイザー引き立てるための噛ませ犬でマジンガーZ出しとけってのがありありと見えて今更カビの生えたZ噛ませ演出とか芸が無いと感じた新主人公引き立てるために旧主人公貶める系のネタは正直何度もやるネタじゃないんだけどマジンガーZはもう飽きるレベルであらゆる媒体で噛ませにされて苦笑いしかない
