This song came out just as I ended a 2 year relationship. Everytime I listen to it it's such a bittersweet feeling. I perfectly reminisce all of the good moments we had yet I understand that to grow we needed to break up. The grieving process is difficult but this song makes me feel like things will be okay. I hope that we're both moving on to greater avenues where we'll find fulfillment in our lives once more. I miss him, and I am so thankful for our time together. Now I will do my best to be happy for myself.

Listening to this song on repeat after finally letting the person I love go. I really wanted to be with him always,however as much as I'm happy whenever I talk to him I'm twice as sad and hurt when he would ignore me for hours,give me false hope and make me overthink everyday. I was actually surprised that I didn't cry after ending things with him,I thought that was because I cried too much that I can't anymore but it was because I'm relieved. I don't have to worry and overthink anymore,I don't have to cry every night and I don't have to look like a fool waiting for him every time. It feels like a heavy burden has finally been lifted.
