This is a shame and an embarrassment. If student's refuse to get along with others send them home, let the parents get more involved. It's time for the adults to take the reins, if not now when?

@@melissab3217 The real prpblem is that the school thinks they have authority over the parents, and refuse to listen to parents OR students. This is all just to get them more money they will squander as they did with all they spent 'making the school safer' by turning it into a jail.

I graduated in 1974 it was a great school then, a fistfight after school now and then was about it

Glad we spent millions of dollars to renovate the school and not a single thought was given to this matter. Wasted money, spent without taxpayer approval.

I go there, they need to have like metal detectors or some sort of security. Ever since those dumb students and parents protested to have the officer leave it has gotten worse. What do you expect??? It's the fact that the school is RIGHT next to a police station, but is not safe at all and does not have officers, IS CRAZY. Do way better Gresham these are kids, who obviously don't have parents to teach them what's wrong and right, the parents are mostly druggies.

the guard needed to leave, as he was illegally questioning and threatening students. The issue isn't the kids, it's the staff and administration, and a long line of failures, and refusal to accept parental influence, and zero supervision all the while, as they make terrible decisions and drive the district into the ground like PPS did.

Weird, they fired all the school resource officers a few years ago because police are the problem. Now the staff is complaining? Reep, sow, repeat.

Schools are extremely unsafe. If you look at them as being more like a prison, everything about what's going on makes sense.
