That moment when you have to say goodbye to someone at an airport but also the moment you see them at the airport when they return and you run to them. A time you did something hard but walked away from whatever it was feeling powerful and you’re sad but you know you’re going to be ok. I’ve listened to this song countless of times, just loving the way it sounds. I’m now listening to it after crying and the “your mind is a stream of colors” felt like it was telling me that and i smiled. like it was meant for me for a second- i dont know why it was like my mind put the spotlight on those words and made it a different perspective. normally i would listen to that line and think of no one, especially myself.

I’m going to date myself here. I graduated high school back in 1986. To me, LED Zeppelin is like a religious experience. A few years ago I was driving down the road and turned on the radio. At first I thought I was hearing a long lost Zeppelin recording airing for the first time. The song I heard that day was off the e.p. From The Fires and the song was Black Smoke Rising. My ears were tingling. All felt right with the universe. And I pondered. I could certainly hear the influences of delta blues and yeah, it kind of sounded like Robert Plant and Jimmy Page had started a new band. But the music kept going through me. And I knew it wasn’t Zeppelin. It was the Fleet. Anyone that says you guys ripped off Zeppelin or say that you aren’t original needs to have their head examined. I have spent days listening to both e.p’s and Anthem of the Peaceful Army and The Battle at Garden’s Gate. Wow, such talent and drive and different thinking than Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham. You guys have sure brought a smile to an old man’s face knowing that great Rock is still out there. Greta Van Fleet is now as much a religious experience as LED Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Queensryche. Thanks for the great music and keep it coming
