I just purchased the Hybrid XLE, a very nice car BUT not too happy about the Gas tank issue. I don’t know if it was mentioned here but the gas tank only allows about 11 gallons when it is empty. This is a flaw that’s annoying a lot of people me included it. I have called Toyota and they don’t have a solid answer yet, the only thing they did was asking me to take the car to the dealer so they can confirm the problem. When I went to the dealer I have to insist and ask for the service manager, the guy was denying he ever heard of the issue and told me they don’t do that type of services after spoken with the manager they agreed to do the services, and admitted I was not the only one showing up or asking about this issue. It’s not a big deal but Toyota is advertising that the vehicle can go for 570 miles with a full tank but that is not the case, mine when going around 400 but that’s because the tank only gets around 11 gallons. Other than that, a FINE vehicle.

I am looking at the 2020 Limited hybrid. Can you tell me what the Limited has that the XSE doesn't? Also, can you get a remote start from the key fob? I heard you have to pay for that through app. Every key fob I've seen doesn't have a remote start feature. I know someone who has an XLE 2019 that had a low tire. They didn't know which tire because the light just showed and not a picture of the tires showing each tire and its pressure. Also, how's the bass in the Rav? I know JBL is know for its clarity, but does it deliver on bass?

S B, thanks for watching and thanks for commenting, please consider subbing to our channel. The main difference of the XSE and limited is a simple question... Do you like sporty or luxury? The XSE is sport focused while the Limited is more luxury focused. The XSE has alot of gloss black painted surfaces vs the Limited has unpainted 18-inch alloy rims. The interiors are also different themes, The XSE is all black, the dash, seats, etc, whereas the limited has lighter color everything. Both XSE and Limited come with the audio plus infotainment system. This includes the remote start from the phone, which is called toyota connected. as for the sound systems themselves, i cannot speak to the bass as i havent had much time to listen to them.

GReviewz I have the 2020 Hybrid XSE, the funny thing is that looks more luxury then the limited. Those mate bumpers on the Limited looks atrocious.

JonGCruz.....I totally agree with you. Do you have rear heated seats, panoramic sunroof, etc? I'm trying to figure out what the Limited has that the XSE doesn't. I would go with the XSE if it offered everything the Limited has.

S B Hi there, well something that I really love from the XSE is the Sport trim suspension (make a huge difference while driving) No rear heated seat, no passenger electric seat and normal sunroof. I definitely prefer the look of the XSE (I have the dark blue with black top) glossy bumper makes an amazing difference.

what does the mileage to empty give you when you filled up full tank?

"Two small USB ports in the back here for the chitlins". Hahaha. I think I am going to purchase the Limited. With 0% financing at 60 months right now, it's hard to hold back. I love the CRV too but their Hybrid has less space in the back and no spare tire. I think they'll fix that with their next redesign. I am a Honda person but this car just felt right. I drove the Acura RDX and Nissan Murano too....and they are both nice but with this car...you get more features for the money and the gas savings will pay some of that back.

Angie, absolutely you really cant go wrong eith the current gen rav4. Legendary reliability + great gas mileage. What's not to love?

I'm a Honda person too........... sadly the CR-V having no spare tire & no towing capabilities were deal breakers for me. I'm buying the Rav4 XSE hybrid.... it's going to be assembled in the next week or two in Woodstock Ontario..... can't wait.

I knew I should have waited for this new Rav4 Hybrid instead of buying my current new CRV. My 1.5turbo CRV limited devours gas around town. I am talking 11 mpg-17 mpg. The current turbo Honda engine is very thirsty. The mpg ratings of this new Hybrid are just to good to ignore. Looks like I will be doing a trade in soon at a Toyota dealer.

Bryan, yes the new rav4 hybrid promises excellent fuel economy in a fun sport package. How was the cvt on the crv? Did it ever bother you?

@@GReviewz The CVT on the new CRV's in my experience has been hit or miss. I had a black 2017 CRV that had every problem you read about when it comes to the first model year of the current CRV. The CVT in that was awful. It would take a full 3 seconds to shift from reverse to forward gear. It just felt off balance. The battery died on me with less than 10,000 miles on it. I still was a big fan of the styling though so I traded it in for a 2018 limited. This one checks all the boxes and aside from the lousy around town gas mileage It runs perfect and the CVT in it works perfectly so far. No sluggish shifting.
