So your old too. Man we had the best of everything growing up. Kids don't realize how great life was before Social Media and smart phones. We lived life to the fullest and didn't isolate in a room. CD's, VHS, DVD'S, Vinyl, Saturday morning cartoons, no auto tune, real rock music, real drugs, and just living. It's like we had just enough tech to enjoy cool shit but not too much like now where even my 3 year old wants a smart phone. I said no we are going out riding a bike and I bought him a skateboard like I did as a kid.

I can't remember the last time a vocalist was this loved and missed after their passing. To see these projects being done in his memory, and to see his millions of fans longing for every second of his voice is simply amazing. I'm so glad Grey Daze is releasing this album with his vocals. Every song with him since his passing is a gift to us all.

"We're gonna make Chester proud". That one line is all you need to know. I've been putting off watching this because I'm incredibly, horribly suicidal, but I'm glad I watched it now. It was a bit cathartic tbh. Somehow, Chester keeps on helping people, even in death. And even if I'm one of the ones that loses the battle with depression, he is one of the ones that kept me going for as long as I have. He will truly not be forgotten. Thank you, Chester, wherever you are now. And thank you Grey Daze. And anyone else reading this and struggling, you're not alone. And I wish I could take your pain away, because it truly sucks to feel everything, and nothing, all at once.

when i was a kid, like 12, i was thinking, why do they praise bands like metallica or other big bands so much, those bands got vocalists that are no where near that guy from linkin park level. He' was a once in a century talent level. Mike shinoda after bowl concert said :" wow those guys sound nice, but it's no where near chester's level. You just can't replace him. RiP my childhood hero

There are no words.... this couldn't of come at a better time for me. I have followed this man... this legendary man since day one I can never ever explain how grateful I am that this has been done by these individuals who knew him the best. Chester had always gotten me through every hard time in my life. This one is the hardest by far. I found my little brother in his bed. Passed by an OD. It came so sudden. He was doing so good. But that demon he carried decided to coax him to use one more time. And it took him from us. Please... help end the stigmata around mental illness. For this is one of the contributing factors that caused my brother to use. I'll always try to make chester proud and my brother prouder. Stay strong and kind soldiers. Always reach out. Because more people love you than you know....

Both WAKE ME and NO SUN OUT TODAY have zero pretentiousness in their message and they don’t seek to victimize anybody for fun. With the fact that nobody has a voice like Chester, and the melodies.....it makes Grey Daze’s work genuinely intriguing in contrast to the other “rockers” in the 90’s who never stood a chance of reaching Chester’s level.
