Grey Francolin in Backyard तीतर, तित्तीर (Credit: Ravi Dumpala)

The Grey Francolin is a species found in the plains and drier parts of South Asia. They are found in open cultivated lands as well as scrub forest. It is a medium-sized francolin with males averaging 35 cm and females 30 cm. The francolin is barred throughout and the face is pale with a thin black border to the pale throat.
