Richard fired most of them after the merger and they just forgot about Steve. Lexi was the only one that lasted til she died. I honestly wish they would stop putting the new interns in. There drama is annoying. Merdeith's class was at least understandable, but now the interns act like immature teenagers. And one always ends up with an attendant it like a terrible rerun. Now that I think about it Izzie was the only one that didn't get with an attendant.
