It’s great to witness artistic growth, especially with someone as talented as Greyson Chance. The polo-shirted, floppy-haired, “Paparazzi”-singing kid we all met years ago in that KZbin talent show clip is all grown up now, and after an impressive 2019 sophomore album further revealed his musical personality, he blossomed in front of our eyes. Chance has also found strength as a force for LGBTQIA+ activism. As an out man from Oklahoma, he flags the discrimination he felt growing up, and courageously challenges toxic gender stereotypes still at work today. His lustful “Hellboy” and “Nobody” also prove he’s not afraid to get a little steamy. Their from his upcoming ‘Trophies’ EP, due later this month, and these simmering Vevo studio performance finds him pouring out his heart at the piano. Fans should check his tour dates; his summer and fall schedule kicks off at OKC Pridefest on June 25, a fitting way to celebrate his return to the stage.
