THE THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
· 5 cups all-purpose flour
· 1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons baking powder
· ½ teaspoon salt
· 2 ½ sticks (10 ounces) unsalted butter, room temperature
· ½ cup + 1 tablespoon solid vegetable shortening
· 3 ¾ cups sugar
· 1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract
· 2 ½ teaspoons almond extract
· 12 large egg whites
· 2 cups whole milk
· Sprinkles: Red, yellow and blue
· Fondant: red, yellow, blue, white, grey and brown
· Buttercream

One of my favorite cakes and birthday, believe it or not when I was 5 years old. My parent's owned a bakery at the time. My dad, although I didn't realize it at the time, made a Cinderella Cake for me with all of the charectors. I can remember playing with the character pieces for years. It clearly made an impression on me seeing I am 55 years old and can still remember that cake!!!

I just made this design for my son’s 3rd birthday and tried to replicate it exactly. It didn’t turn out 100% like yours but still really happy with what I accomplished.
