Grez Guitars | What Makes Them Awesome?

I just recently purchased a Grez Junior. It is truly a joy to play. It has made me more of a knob twiddler but every sound is musical and filled with purpose. I feel fortunate to have such a beautiful guitar, made by such an artist! Thank you, Barry.

Barry was great to work with on my custom Lefty Grez. He was very open to pickup selection and finish. I ended up with a Lollar Charlie Christian and 50s wind P90. He even put an out of phase switch in so I can get some cool early blues sounds. I even got a picture of the tree my reclaimed redwood came from.

Great looking and sounding guitar. Beautiful! Their price range does have a lot of competion in the handbuilt market and the Grez seems to be a great addition/contender. In my mind, I don't get how it's not up around $5K, maybe they do have some at that price range but for $3.5K (I think?), these are great. If I needed a new guitar, that design and sound would be nice to have/play.

Very nice demo. When I had my Mendocino custom built, I had it made with both coil splits (on Lollar Imperial pickups) and a piezo system. There is just about nothing that guitar cannot do, aside from my own limitations. You can find a demo of the piezo and blend option on the Grez site. I am hoping to get a second later on when a few different options get rolled out.

If you like that, you need to check out Keytone Amps! They have amazing amps with custom wood cabinets. They even have another amp with a guitar builder. Lucky Dog I believe it's called. But that thing it's phenomenal.

I foresee a problem there for an international buyer from a country signed onto the CITES treaty. Paperwork can be costly, on top of GST , import tax threshold & courier delivery.

There is no wood used in these guitars that require CITES documents for international sales.

In the intro it was just the Pantheon for overdrive and some light delay I added in post
