Thank you Marcus for all your teachings. I found this particular vid potentially very helpful, in gaining more understanding of how to use the ground in the golf swing.

Really important point there from Marcus “trust your body” and “give yourself time”. Did a lesson with Marcus before Christmas. Has changed my game. Was -1 after 8 holes in my last round. I’m a 14 handicap. One of the best rounds I’ve played. Bad weather hasn’t allowed me to play since but can’t wait to get out and put it to the test again.

i think i got what you're saying. i always wondered what it would be like to hit a golf ball where the ball and tee are like hitting a baseball and the swing plane more matches the the shoulder plane. i played a lot of baseball as a lad and was good at it. i also played a lot of hockey and was very good at that but golf i can only get to a 13 hdcp after 40+ years.

Good video, Marcus. I understand using the feet to create ground force, but how does the release happen? Does it happen automatically? Or do we have to be mindful of the release? I can't seem to get the feet and release happening as a sequence. I think I'm using the ground, then I have a block release to the right or even left. How can you marry the two together? TIA...
