2:08:28 Crucifixes can be triggered in the van on this level (42 Edgefield Road) if the ghost is a demon, since the crucifix effectiveness range is larger with them (crucifix effect range is 3 meters normally, 5 meters for demons). The ghost was in the master bedroom, and that's close enough to trigger the crucifixes. It can also happen if the ghost was in the garage or the hallway.

Quick tip about the writing book. It’s actually the hardest evidence to get because it can take a while, the only time you can 100% rule it out is if interacts with the book But doesn’t write in it- if it interacts the book will be upside-down or closed

Also, you can reopen the truck doors after they close by clicking the door button again so you don't return to the lobby. I absolutely love the joke of Scar's possession from that funny and incredibly lucky coincidence. The situation was set up perfectly for them, the ghost was a demon (which has a wider range for crucifixes), it was close enough to the van to be in range of the crucifixes in it, and it tried to hunt twice. So it burns the crucifixes, setting off the EMF reader as Scar heads to the van, making GIGS freak out and Scar makes it funnier by unintentionally sabotaging them so they didn’t find out it was a demon.

According to the phasmo wiki when a demon is in the master bedroom the crucifix radius from the truck can cover part of the hunt spawn point. So a demon attempting to hunt will trigger the crucifix while still in the truck. 2:08:23
