This was such a useful tool back in the day ..I used it a lot designing short wave transmitters . Even FM broadcasting units .. It is simple and accurate . Yu dont see them a lot this days ..

In the seventies somewhere I made one with an ECC85 tube in a very compact box. Unfortunately i dismantled it, I needed the double varco with ball-drive reduction for another project. Later I bought the famous Tridiper from Hanssen witch I still own. In that days I used it a lot for my homemade projects such as (hamradio-) receivers and transmitters

I often regretted having dismantled old instruments to recover components but I was a young man with little money, however many of my friends in the 70s used grid-dip to calibrate antennas.

I know the grip dip it was very practical for adjust a receiver or transceiver but the mine is most precise in frequency

it is homemade with little expense and recycled material, you cannot expect absolute precision but for me it is more than sufficient

bello, può essere utile, onestamente ho sempre fatto con il func gen e l'oscillo per queste cose ma per quel che costa si può costruire, mi annoia soltanto fare le scale sul disco LOL

@@fabriziomarzi-cm6to beato te che lo "eri" soltanto :( io continuo ad esserlo, ho fatto un elenco dei componenti, devo vedere solo se ho un cond. variabile da tipo 90+90pF, il resto ho tutto, sono alla ricerca di progetti decentemente interessanti da fare... vediamo che mi invento per la scala, come stampante ho solo una di quelle che stampa le etichette su carta termica LOL come larghezza però dovrebbe bastare

@@fabriziomarzi-cm6to comunque ho dato un'occhiata più a fondo con i GDM e ce ne sono diversi di cui si trova lo schema, mi sono convinto a fare quello che si trova googlando "GRID DIP OSCILLATOR by SM0VPO" ha diversi vantaggi rispetto a quello che hai fatto tu (sembrerebbe), molti di questi "hack" si possono applicare anche al UK402 ma tanto vale che faccio l'altro, di condensatori variabili ne ho trovati di adatti, ma a me servono anche frequenze molto basse ed il UK402 non è garantito che funzioni sotto qualche MHz
