VHF Contesting K7TVA
The world is covered in grid squares. Some ham radio contests require you to know and exchange your grid square.
In this particular video I am entered in the ARRL VHF contest as a "rover" station.
That is an amateur radio operator that drives around in a vehicle with antennas, radios and anything else needed to make radio contacts with as many other stations as they can for as many points as possible.
I'm lucky enough to live near the intersection of four different grid squares EM10, EM00, EL09 & EL19. I can earn more points by making contacts from all four of those grids.
