It's nice to have nades for post-plant if Gridlock can have Iana or Ying bring smokes for her, otherwise I'd be really hesitant on sacrificing the success rate of getting the plant down itself by not pairing smokes.

This right here is why I like the decision to give nades to Gridlock. There's an actual viable dilemma between nades and other utility. You aren't gonna see people bringing EMPacts or flashbangs on Sledge

Gridlock is the best attacker IMO she has a pocket shotgun (same thing Buck can do) AMAZING ability. Underrated but amazing weapons. Smokes and Now grenades as well 9/10 only cause of her weight 😂

I'd say she's actually better as a 1 speed plant monster. Frags and stingers to completely wipe a site plus the health to tank defender gadgets and spam, now that everyone moves the same speed while ads the 1speed is less of a disadvantage
