of course, every since I discovered Gatsby, and now this, even more accessible than React.

I can't believe my plugin is in a KZbin video. Thanks for making this video. Thanks for catching that spelling mistake. I will update that soon.

what if I make changes and edits in my Google Sheet? Does the graphQL query auto update ? I'm not seeing the changes on the front end.

Hi Erik, Love your videos. Keep up the great work! Do you think you could show us how to create a blog with Gridsome and Sanity?

I would really like to make a blog that builds from a drive folder with google-docs as blog posts. do you think its a good idea?

Hey Erik love the videos man thanks for helping me go full stack. Just a question, I got really confused here (19:32) I have a few questions. What did you do here, and are you writing in Node.js there? or is that specific to gridsome
@wyvern2745 жыл бұрын
OH AND LASTLY is the data read only?
@ProgramWithErik5 жыл бұрын
The data is read only, you have to stop and restart the server for it to refresh in Gridsome. And that page-query is the syntax you use to do the graphQL query

Really useful tutorial, thanks. One thing I had to add to get it working was in gridsome.config.js to specify the template with path and component as well as the plugin. Not sure if I missed it in the video or if it wasn't shown?

Great video Erik. I was waiting until the end convinced you would link from the list of names to the ID page - so I thought that will be easy :) But can't figure it out - I thought: {{page.node.Name}} But no cigar. How would you do it ? TIA, Dave
@DavePerth5 жыл бұрын
ps - added ending / after reading the docs, but no change - also tried variations of ID - my field name ID and the internal id

Instead of manually adding an Id for the path, how can we slugify the Name and use that for the path instead?

Thanks! I don't know if it's a huge issue, because I believe those are public keys. But I'll edit that out anyways thanks for letting me know!

You have to reload the entire app to see data changes?! That's terrible.
@ProgramWithErik5 жыл бұрын
You have to rebuild, because it's generating all the static content on build.

If you upload your static site to somewhere like Netlify it can auto-update whenever it detects a change. Most sites like Netlify does this.
