I get the idea of it all, but it just sounds horrible to spend 7+ hours on a game only for the next day it's all gone.

@@ItIsYouAreNotYour the guy above is trolling you, the community is anything but nice. and the game is absolute torture yeah. basically if you aren't in a huge clan like you said or if you are not insanely good at the game, you will have a horrible time. that's part of the game's draw though, always being at risk of losing everything. when i play, being pretty bad at the game, i feel like a hog being hunted the whole time. and honestly it's a very interesting feeling hahaha. even if you win some odd fight and manage to get some stuff on your hands, chances are you'll get killed and lose all of it on your way back to base. it's basically chronic adrenaline and paranoia. unless you are someone like kickstand. then, i can imagine, the experience is something that no other game can match, the sheer dominance you can exhibit upon worse players in this game is ridiculous. it's the true "survival of the fittest" game, after you play rust nothing else will feel truly competitive.

Yeah, I'm more of a lone wolf player for most games I play. I play a lot of Tarkov, so I get the aderaline paranoia dump you get. It really is amazing, but also heart breaking haha.

​@@ItIsYouAreNotYour it's similar to tarkov where you can also lose a lot, but there is also server wipes, which is when the whole server restarts, everyone is back to square one with nothing. usually they wipe once per week, but imagine a server that wipes once per month. you lose a month's worth of progress in like 15 minutes just because another guy decided so. also people hold grudges over the smallest things forever, find out where you live and just ruin your whole wipe.
