I don't really play rust anymore so I'm not familiar with the what is and isnt this or that in rust anymore. But is it really roof camping if you shoot a clan surrounding your base with full kits that have taken a liking to your base? It doesn't appear hes a notorious roof camper the way you approached and I mean why have the roof if you cant use it. I think this is borderline raid defense. The style of base alone is enough of an indicator. You dont build those outward projectind defensive tiles on your roof or make a dozen shooting gallery 3rd story windows unless you plan yo shoot people from your roof/base. Plus they shot and talked shit first. So yeah they totally were douches and had it comming.

Roofcamping minus actual cheating is the only scummy thing I won't EVER let someone get away with. At least door camping the person has a chance but with roof camping you can just come out naked to check bodies and you're never going to lose anything that way. What I do is always tell everyone in global then I round up the boys. I won't even play with ppl who roof camp. It just feels wrong. Like anything else you can counter if you're better and have the ability to outplay them at their game.

You should add pagers to your griefing repertoire. I saw a guy called Gupp do it and it's SUPER effective. They're so loud and annoying. I'm not actually sure how it works but I think all he did was set up a transmitter on the same channel as the thousands of pagers he made and they would all beep nonstop. The best part is that the targets can't do anything to stop the pagers unless they actually come out of their base to physically pick up the pagers you drop and recycle them (a huge pain) or run them far enough away that they can't hear them (you can go collect them and use them again lol.)

Yes, it's considered roof camping.... Standing on your roof, and willing popping off at players that are not threatening or actually raiding or those who have no gear at all.... Is branded a roof camping rat.. Don't do it, it's not worth it.. It only gets you raided on and on the wrong teams radar 🤣
