Hey coop I think you have a good point on home gyms are the future. I started training in my room in 1985 if I'm not mistaken, I was already motivated by Steve Reeves Hercules, they came Arnold Schwarzenegger and lou ferrigno the hulk. Then eventually I joined a commercial gym, gold gym, the gym, power house gym, 24 hour fitness and other gyms etc., now fast forward to the future 2021. I right back where I started back in my home gym again. I'm always motivated even my friends still dam John still motivated after all these years. How you do it, I say I guess I'm just driven to commit to excellence to my self. So my question to you coop, why people go to a commercial gym . Why spend all that money on a commercial gym, when they spend invest their own money in there own home gym.

People are always doing mental gymnastics to come up with existential reasons to buy from brands like Rogue. “American made” and “original non-copy cat products” but they’re usually disingenuous about it. It’s fine to buy nice things like Rogue without having to bust your ass to justify and look holier than thou. People don’t generally do that with LV bags or Gucci sandals, so no need to do that with Rogue. I appreciate the way Brandon goes about it. A lot of his stuff is Rogue because it’s a quality product he can afford and he likes it. He doesn’t beat us down with a bunch of fake cop out reasons to justify buying Rogue or Williams Strength. He has a lot of damn good stuff and he’s unapologetic about it as he should be.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzbin.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

Agreed, things really got out of hand last year with the whole pandemic situation. Left a lot of us having to either buy crappy products, purchase at a premium and or wait till stock became available to buy at regular prices. I went with the later which took a year and pounds gained, not the good kind … smh. I think it's a nice rack at a great price. Hole numbering pretty much all through, 1" holes and comes with the most popular attachments to get going from the starting gate. Also, I'm partial to the color scheme and I had to have my attachments/accessories powder coated to get this look and Griffin is selling it stock like this. I have no complaints about my Rep rack, but If I were doing it all again, this would definitely be a contender. Griffin was smart to enter the market at this time, since stock is still challenging.

Local pickup in SoCal? OH HELL YES!!!!! Finally I get to feel what the Denver folks feel picking up their REP equipment. Sub $1K for the package is a stellar deal, especially factoring in the included deluxe J-cups, strap safety, logo-nameplate, and the multi grip pull-up bar, all of which are usually considered “upgrade/premium” items from other companies. I hope Griffin will come out with a longer crossmember soon, I’d like a 41” depth VS the 30”. Or perhaps make a plate storage option available to make it a 6 post rack. Regardless, it looks promising, I wish them the best.

When you consider the fact that a Rogue RM3 starts at around $1100 and is US made with a solid warranty. Why would anyone pay $1000 for a Chinese made rack. Even if it's every bit as good, how do you swallow the fact that Chinese labor and materials are a fraction of the cost of US labor, yet you are only saving 10-20%? I would understand if this was a consumable product that you buy once a month or even once a year, over time it can add up. You buy something like this once. If this was $500-$600 it would make sense, and perhaps when Covid supply chain issues are far behind us that's exactly how much they will be asking for it.

i have a titan fitness x3 and does everything i need it for! sits outdoors and had no problem with it rusting! its just metal. if you can get the rack you want that has the attachments youll use then i wouldnt spend a fortune on something that is the same thing as others. wish i had just squat stands now! i only snatch, clean and jerk and squat. so the most i use the rack for is accessory work other than squatting, pull ups, and dips.

How durable is powder coat versus other rack finishes? Does it scrape off as you put accessories on and move the j-cups around? One thing about the warranty is how likely are you going to RMA a power rack? If their policy is to give you credit or cash that's one thing. Or if they're going to ship you a new part. But if they're going to ask for you to return it, it might be more trouble than it's worth

James, look at the Again Faster Competition range for basically REP in the UK. Only difference is the uprights are 80mmx80mm (3.15inches) Vs 3x3 in the US market.

You can either bolt it to the ground or use front foot extensions if you don't have that option. The GR3 comes with anchors to bolt it to the ground.

I looked into getting equipment from Griffin. Their products have received good reviews, but the issue I had with them is they did not carry a lot of products in stock when I was in the market for equipment for my home gym. I am sure Griffin is a good company, but it seems that they have not handled the pandemic as well as some other fitness companies in terms of restocking and things like that.

Griffin > Rep. Never buy anything from rip Fitness!!! And Griffin safety straps actually hold. Rep welds break on their safety straps and iso arms. Rep is trying to sweep that under the bus tho. Plus Griffin is cheaper and 100 times better

Slight caveat* I actually did find someone who did clone them but he's 1. Asking $100 more and 2. His shipping is more expensive... So someone at or around the rep price point... At a certain price point I'd consider trolly arms over rep's version

We are working on lever arms but they will not be a similar design to REP. We have been working on a number attachments for several months now.

Its literally a metal frame. This guy is talking about problems with a metal rack. Its just lifting equipment yall. Yes spend as much as you want but at the end of the day its just a metal rack to support weight. Id be worried about j cups and the barbell you are using. But a rack between 500-1000 dollars isnt such a big deal.

If I were only ordering a rack, I'd probably consider this or a Rep PR-4000. But if I were ordering other fitness equipment too, I'd rather go Rep and save on shipping, since Griffin doesn't offer many products
