Geoff added lyrics and made it his own. This song came out in 1959. I was five years old then.

The song originally had just verses with no chorus or bridge, so Geoff added some to vary it up. Each section starting with "Big Iron" are his additions. Oh yes he does go subharmonic, and has been down as low as A0. Not sure what that last note was. He's been doing quite a few more country songs lately, they do suit his voice. But what doesn't? I think all VP and Geoff fans also know Tim. :)
