Thanks for speaking to me and my 2 sons. Brentford were very lucky today and as I suspected this was not an easy game. Ipswich played really well especially in the first half and even when down to 10 men. It was a cracking game and so relieved the bees got the 3 points. Good luck for the rest of the season (apart from the bees visit to Portman Road of course). Your fans were really loud, one of the best I think we have seen and heard in the new ground.

Usual shambles of a defence...otherwise a numbers of players put a shift in attacking wise and closed down Brentford well particularly 1st half but we got cocky and weren't compact enough towards the end of that half. Have to beat Leicester next weekend! Nice Halloween jokes from Griffdad to make up for the loss :)

Szmodics & chaps,Hirst surprised me.Ogbene coming off injured changed things ,Brentford are a good team going forward but leak goals like us,so made it an entertaining game.The ref was a plonker though, Clarke second yellow was wrong,he got the ball not the player,VAR is a joke but all credit to Brentford, they a good side,not many teams will beat them or their turf.

I think we're playing well but making sloppy errors every now and again in defence. At 2-0 we should have made absolutely sure we went home with the three points. Unlucky but sooner or later we need to get our season going. It’s 1:4 way done now, and if we carry on like this we are on course for 16 points, which means relegation. Even if we get four or five wins, we are still looking at relegation. So we need a massive upturn. Disappointing after our early season optimism.

Muric do not communicate well with the defends and my main concern is that he is not smart playing in the prem. Very poor long balls distribution too. Slow in going down and mostly going in the opposite directions for saves. Wasted 8 Mil

If you're an old git like me you'll remember the 1990 FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace. Jim Leighton was in goal for Manchester United in the first game (Alex Ferguson signed him from Aberdeen soon after taking the Man United job). Leighton had a shocker in that game and Ferguson dropped him for the replay, replacing him with Les Sealey. A bold decision that paid off. Every player will make an error every now and then but it's a weekly event with Muric. Sometimes a signing doesn't work out; this could be one of them.
