We didn’t turn up until the 80th min and that’s testament to how well Ipswich played, frustrated us and battled for everything. I think we've learned that the journey is better than the destination, but Brentford and Bournemouth have managed to reach the Premier League and to stay there. The same goes for Brighton. If we don't get anything at Wolves next Saturday we really are in trouble. The lad thinks the Championship has more equality. Wrong. There's large budget inequalities in that league as well. If Ipswich go down they'll have parachute payments which will give them a big advantage over other clubs, particularly those coming up from League 1. As a lifelong Cherries fan, I'm glad for the win. However, saying that (and as an underdog fan for many decades), I hope Ipswich stay up. I feel the same for Wolves, Southampton (seeing as 95% of my family support them) & Palace. Town & Palace are at least playing good football right now, the other 2.... That young fella @18:55 hit the nail on the head. The thing is the Premiership was created by the top teams because of greed. In their own words: "to prevent the top clubs from losing income to the lower leagues". Sadly for Everton who were one of those teams, it's kinda backfired. @@satch2000 It's so hard to say. At this point last year, with a new manager, AFCB were on 11 points after 13 games. After 20 games we were on 17 points. You'd have put money on us being totally F'... relegated. But, we stayed up and had our highest ever league position at end of the season. That's how things can change when everything clicks. If things don't change, then I see Wolves & Saints going down for sure. As for spot #3, depends on who gets their act together, and who doesn't. The thing is (and I know this not possible at all) I don't want to see any smaller club go down. Fans of smaller teams are the most passionate of all - they usually experience more downs than ups, but they're still at the gate every week no matter the weather. As an AFCB supporter I always want us to win ofc, but like with other big wins for small clubs - if it gets any airplay at all on MOTD, then it won't be about about what you did well, or how brilliantly you played - it WILL be about what they did wrong, so that's what we're up against. If you want it bad enough, don't give up, and keep cheering so they fight for it.

I think there is far more to it than net spend i.e look at liverpool, spent v little but have prem infrastructure and firepower to still crack on. Think a point Oscar is trying to make is whether there is a risk that the prem/champ gulf is getting too big. 3 that went up went down last year and looking like at least 2 of 3 that went up last year will also go down. Carry on like that...and promotion/relegation will render itself pointless. Early days though I suppose!
