I personally believe David Lodge's voice for Grigori is the better of the two.

I believe it too

Both actors are excellent. I think the new one is a little more experienced but the dialogues script for the first game is FAR superior. And the scenes are more violent, more impactful than on the second one.

Hit the nail on the head with 'more impactful', most of the sequel is straight to the point. In DD1 we got an emphatic cutscene meeting The Dragonforged, DD2 he's just there...

One sounds like he’s into it, the other sounds like he’s tired of it

There was no replacing David Lodge but the new actor did well for what he was given. Though he never got the chance to show it like David did. Hopefully in the DLC we get both and have them both showcase what they’re capable of.

Not only David was better, the writting and overall role of dragon was better in DDDA

I haven't played Dragon's Dogma 2 yet, for me, both voices are perfect, I liked his new voice... but why doesn't he move his mouth in Dragon's Dogma 2?

Crossing my fingers hoping we get an option to have David’s voice for the Dragon in the DLC. Grahame’s voice is good but it doesn’t have the same gravitas and divine wisdom that David’s performance had.

No contest DD1 did it better, DD2 dragon is rambling, and while his voice actor definitely was given a worst script even if it was the same, DD1 voice actor just delivers it way better. He sounds godly while DD2 sounds like a human

Yeah DD1's dragon is just all around better. No hate on the other voice actor but his lines were crap, and the bored voice of DD1 had so much SWAGGER

They did absolutely nothing with Grigori in the second game.
